Kennedy decided that she wanted to play volleybal this Spring, so without hesitation I signed her up through the Carbon County Rec. What I failed to realize was that I had actually signed her up for the "fundamental's of volleyball" which turned out to be a blessing as she had never really played the sport before. The coaches pushed these girls and taught them the elements they needed to play the sport. Never was there a practice that I didn't pick up Kenn red faced and covered in sweat and after watching her in action I could see why. These girls worked their little tail ends off for an hour and half moving constantly. She is now wanting to attend a volleyball camp this summer and then later try out for the Jr. High team. Kennedy has always had an impeccable talent in athletics and picks up on any sport effortlessly so any time she shows interest and drive in a certain area we try and push her in all of the right directions. This little girl can RUN, we've noticed especially lately how quick she is. Paul and I are hoping that in the future she pursues track or cross country. The Hough side of our family has a natural talent for running so she comes by it honestly. I squander over the adventures she will embark upon in her teenage journey and relish in the drive she has when she sets her mind towards something. My sweet Kennedy, I will always be your #1 fan!
GOOOOOO, Kenn! How awesome! Volleyball is sooo much fun and I'm glad she's enjoying it. We love that Volleyball Cutie!
